If you want a guilty pleasure meal or to just indulge in tasty comfort food, the chicken & waffle here will NOT disappoint. It's the perfect balance of crispy, hot, fluffy, salty, savory and sweet all slapped together. I prefer getting no extra heat on my chicken, but if you're a fan of spice, they offer it.
revamp: Any time I'm in LA, I do my best to visit Howlin' Ray's. The chicken is seasoned generously with spices and the waffles create a perfect counter to them. The sandos are also a great option if you're not feeling the mix of chicken and waffles. The slaw and sauce on the sando provide a nice balance to the spice of the chicken, so don't be afraid to get something a bit spicy! The staff are also a highlight of the visit, so be sure to say hi and match the vibe!
