5 places Mochina Sensei (mochijapa) recommends · Mochina Sensei (mochijapa)’s channel

  1. Ginza Fukurokuju Honten 銀座 福祿壽 本店 · Chuo: An authentic matcha specialty shop! You have to try their matcha shaved ice! If you're not a fan of cold desserts, I recommend their matcha dorayaki and tea set instead!
  2. Wagashi Soso Shibuya Tokyu Food Show 和菓子 楚々 渋谷東急フードショー店 · Shibuya: Super cute, photogenic, and delicious dango to go! I'm a dango VTuber myself, so I guess eating them is like eating my friends, but I highly recommend this place! I suggest getting both a traditional flavor, like mitarashi (sweet soy sauce glaze), and the Shibuya-exclusive matcha cookie flavor! If you're visiting Tokyo, I recommend picking some up right before back to your hotel after sightseeing and eat them as a snack in your hotel room! It's best to eat dango on the same day you buy them!
  3. Mrs. Barry's Kona Cookies · Hawaiʻi County, USA: The cookies here are absolutely delicious! They have so many different varieties, but I highly recommend trying these three: Award-Winning Kona Cookies, Hawaiian Wedding Kona Cookies, and Mrs. Barry's Peanut Butter Kona Cookies. They're all must-buys!
  4. YORONIKU蕃 · Shibuya: The prices are surprisingly affordable considering the high-quality meat, and the staff grill everything for you! (Staff members who grill the meat for you are called 焼き師 /yakishi) or 焼き手 /yakite in Japanese.) Make sure to order their most popular course, the Truffle Sukiyaki Course!
  5. OKINAWA CAFE Blue shell · Naha: Here is a shaved ice cafe! This is one of the places I definitely want to visit again the next time I go to Okinawa! They have a huge variety of toppings, and you order by writing down your choices on an order sheet! I love fruit-based shaved ice topped with espuma (a light, fluffy foam), so I always end up ordering that combination. But I hope you'll have fun customizing your shaved ice with your own favorite toppings! They're also famous for their brown sugar latte!

What should we call you?

This is the name your friends and guilds see. You can change it any time under Me.

📍 Use your location?

Only you see it: a blue dot on your own map, and how far each place is from you. It's never shared with anyone or saved by Giri Eats. It stays on your device.

🎥 Live on stream? Nobody on Giri Eats can see where you are. But if the map is on stream, the dot would show your viewers. Leave it off while you're live if your viewers can see your map.

📍 Are you here right now?

Confirm with your location and this visit counts for badges. Your location is sent once to check you're at the place, then dropped. Nothing shows on the map.

Been here before? It still counts as Been here, just not for badges. Next time you go, tap 📍 I'm here: confirm my visit on the place.
