Sunday Brunch Shimokitazawa · Setagaya: really good brunch/breakfast spot with beautiful, quiet atmosphere and interior. their french toasts are super delectable and their breakfast options are really good! their savoury options are really yum too, but i highly recommend trying their french toasts. it's really near a LOT of vintage and thrift stores, so you can fuel up here before you go shopping if that's your speed!

Good Luck Curry · Shibuya: really good non-traditional curry place!! i would say their curry isn't very japanese-style, more leaning on western, but it's still really hearty and flavorful. you can choose to have more than one type of curry on your plate, and there's vegan options too for those who don't eat meat!
  3. 0 Second Lemon Sour · Taito: really yummy yakiniku with really good meat options, but the star of this place is the free-flow lemon sour buffet! you pick two syrups to flavor your lemon sours with, and whether you want to drink for 60 or 90 minutes, and then you can drink as many glasses as you want! there are several outlets across tokyo (and one in shibuya) but i prefer this outlet :-) i've gotten drunk here more times than i can count. oops.
