Very good third-wave coffee shop worth going out of your way for. Go for the unique seasonal drinks, pour overs, and pastries including real croissants. The baristas are excellent, can speak some English and are happy to chat about coffee. The modern decor is great for photography.
European style breakfast cafe serving third-wave coffee and an assortment of sweet and savory breakfast foods on the rooftop terrace. Enter the building lobby, take the elevator to up to the top and enjoy French toast, cakes, sandwiches, salads, and a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks.
Since 2024 and as of 2026, MINIMAL is the only ice cream shop in the world with a Michelin star. I ended up going twice because it's just that good and well deserving of its star. It's clear that they put a ton of detail, attention, and effort into the ingredients and craft of their ice cream. Flavors change with seasons, so it's always a new experience. Expect a 1-hour wait during peak hours, and they do sell out daily.
Six Sisters is one of the best traditional Taiwanese breakfast spots I've found, known for their fantuan (sticky rice balls), danbing (egg crepe), and luobo gao (radish cake). All the locals go here so it can be busy, but service is fast. Bring cash, fill out the paper order form, hand it to the money guy, take your ticket, and find a seat. You won't be disappointed.
Your bartender's favorite bar in HK. You won't find Bourke's on The 50's list of Best in the World, but every bartender in Central comes here. For something classic I recommend the White Enzoni, but definitely explore their limited seasonal drinks. Bourke's also runs a tight kitchen, serving gastropub classics like chicken parmesan and more unique offerings like ox tongue and sea bass.
