  1. Osakaya · Shinjuku: Best okonomiyaki in Kabukicho (trust), they have vegetarian alternatives too. You can bake yourself or they can bake the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki for you.
  2. RICCIO · Shinjuku: Cozy little Italian-style restaurant, very calm atmosphere. Pizza crust is amazing. Cus sometimes when you're in Japan you crave gluten and cheese.
  3. Café Koya · Stockholm, Sweden: Cute Japanese café with sweet cakes and Totoro
  4. Chirashiya · Kamakura: Adorable local sushi spot, they specialize in vegetable sushi and it's all vegan. Super friendly staff and beautiful surrounding nature if you want to go for a walk after in Kita-Kamakura.
  5. Mocca deli Linköping · Linköping, Sweden: My recommendation goes for Mocca Deli in general. Mainly pizza & pasta and the alcoholic drinks are nice, even just the flatbread pizza is good. Their menu changes with the season, but if they have the spicy vodka paste that's my go-to!
