  1. Roots Natural Kitchen · Newark, USA: My favorite "make your own rice/salad/protein" slop bowl spot. I usually order their "El Jefe" but swap the brown rice for roots rice, and swap the corn for sweet potato.
  2. Curry wa Nomimono Akihabara branch · Chiyoda: Portions can be pretty large. Place order via kiosk (there's an option to change language to english), hand the printed your ticket to the chef, then they'll show you a jp/en topping menu to ask what 3 toppings you'd like.
  3. curry house P＆G · Miyakojima, Osaka: Tiny "hole in the wall" curry spot that seats like 10 people max where you can see them cook everything over the counter. They have a menu in english too. I'd eat here every night if I could. Also right across a small arcade called Game Point Chateau EX.
