  1. Black+Blue · Vancouver, Canada: Very Fancy Wagyu Steakhouse, The Sunday "Prime Day" deal is great! Prime rib meal, a salad and dessert for ~$59 CAD. Good for a nice treat or celebratory night out!
  2. Arcana Spirit Lounge · Vancouver, Canada: a speakeasy Bar themed around The Major Arcana. Look for the "pet psychic". The Wheel of Fortune is a must try, you spin a wheel to get a base spirit, and again to get a theme. and the bartender makes you something in that theme.
  3. Zakkushi on main · Vancouver, Canada: Great Yakitori place! It's best in small groups, any more than 4 and you'll wanna book in advance. The Shogun Sour is tasty and the Cheese Mochi Maki is great! I generally spend ~40-60 here but you can def go higher pretty quickly!
  4. la belle patate · Vancouver, Canada: Poutine!!! After my fave place in town burned down. La Belle Patate is my go to for great poutine in Vancouver. The Classic Poutine or Montreal Smoked meat are my reccs. try and visit in store as poutine is best fresh as possible!
  5. The Shameful Tiki Room · Vancouver, Canada: Awesome tiki bar. usually booked out *well* in advance esp on weekends. so book ahead or expect a decent wait. you -have- to try a Zombie at least once. excellent customer service. The food is good but definitely more of a drink spot.
