SE SALIO EL POLLO · Callao, Peru: They sell peruvian roasted chicken, a very famous dish in Peru. It's one of the best I've ever tasted. If you're a foreigner, they can show you how it's cooked if you ask nicely. The place is very famous in Callao. It gets very crowded on weekends, so I recommend going around noon or after 4 p.m.
Gaijin Cocina Nikkei · San Isidro, Peru: The owners have worked at very famous restaurants like Maido and Central. It’s a more affordable option for enjoying a culinary experience. The service is good, the dishes are wonderful, and they explain the ingredients and the history behind each dish. 10/10
El Jade Restaurant Oriental · San Isidro, Peru: What I recommend most is the buffet, since it offers both Chinese and Peruvian food. It's reasonably priced. The food is delicious, and the service is good.
Makoto Sushi Bar · Santiago de Surco, Peru: You have to try the tiraditos. they're delicious, though they might not be everyone's cup of tea. Another option is the maki rolls, which come in sets of 12. I recommend any kind, as long as it's hot.
Don Nato · Callao, Peru: The Royal Burger, the salchipapa, and the BBQ wings are delicious; they're open starting at 6 p.m. They have two locations, but I've only tried this one.
Pizzería La Romana · Pueblo Libre, Peru: The pizza is delicious, and there are also good pasta dishes; as an appetizer, I loved the garlic bread.
