Tsubakiya Coffee Shop Shinjuku · Shinjuku: - My recommendation: Siphon-brewed House Blend Coffee and Hayashi Rice (Japanese-style hashed beef with rice)!
I especially recommend the Hayashi Rice because it’s such a classic Japanese Western-style dish!
Parfaiteria bel · Shibuya: - Japan has something called Yoru Parfait (night parfait), a culture that originally became popular in Sapporo, Hokkaido!
Normally, Japanese people might finish a night of drinking with ramen, but in Sapporo, people started having beautiful parfaits instead!
The parfaits here are made more for adults. They’re fancy, creative, and sometimes even use alcohol!
They’re almost like little pieces of art, and the menu changes with the seasons. It’s a really fun and unique dessert experience!
Pizzeria SALUTE · Ota: - This one is a little different from the other two!
The reason I love this restaurant is actually the owner. They really know their wines and can recommend delicious bottles from Italy and France!
If you want to enjoy genuinely good wine with amazing pizza, this is my recommendation.
Their pizzas are baked in a proper pizza oven, so the crust is absolutely delicious!
My recommendation: Ask the owner to choose a wine based on your mood that day, and order their special Truffle Pizza!
