Liuss’s food picks

5 places Liuss recommends · Liuss’s channel

  1. ORA sushi · Chicago, USA: Everything on the menu is amazing, you really can't go wrong with anything. There's all kinds of rolls and seafood dishes. You can also sit in front of the chefs as they prepare the food. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend the Oyster Motoyaki. Every time I've been here, the food took a while so maybe take that into consideration and use that time to have some good conversation. They do bring you freebies if it's taking a bit to come out at least.
  2. Kyuramen x TBaar · Chicago, USA: Very aesthetic Japanese restaurant. I loved the honeycomb seating area and the food was really yummy, especially the omurice and ramen. Don't forget to get yourself a sweet treat too! They have a section in the back meant for larger groups that I've been dying to sit at because it is absolutely gorgeous. Seriously, look up pictures of the interior. Look at pics of the food too! Service time is usually good but I never notice if it's taking a while because there's just so much to look at here.
  3. Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ · Chicago, USA: Very fun hands on restaurant to share with friends! There's a wide selection of meals to choose from. They have course options to match your group size. This is my #1 recommendation to try if it's your first time here. This way, you get to bypass food decisions as you'll be able to taste a good chunk of the menu. I love being the designated griller but it's fun to get others involved too. Then, you all get to make smores! There's a downtown location too but it's usually more busy.
  4. Penny's Noodle Shop · Chicago, USA: Cozy budget friendly restaurant with generous portions. I'm a big fan of the spicy noodles. The vibe of the food reminds me of when I as a kid would visit a friend and their mom made delicious noodles for us. Everyone is so warm and welcoming too. There's a nice outdoor area but be warned that it is right underneath a train line so there will be noise here and there.
  5. Chicago Brewhouse Riverwalk · Chicago, USA: Fantastic diverse menus showcasing the best of what Chicago has to offer. I particularly enjoy the tacos and churros! Being in the heart of downtown, it can be pretty busy especially on a nice day. Good thing that this is the perfect spot to people watch and eat on the riverwalk. The workers are so kind and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time here.

Only you see it: a blue dot on your own map, and how far each place is from you. It's never shared with anyone or saved by Giri Eats. It stays on your device.

🎥 Live on stream? Nobody on Giri Eats can see where you are. But if the map is on stream, the dot would show your viewers. Leave it off while you're live if your viewers can see your map.
