  1. Milk Belly Bakery · San Jose, USA: Milk Belly Bakery is an Asian American Inspired bakery with tons of good pastries and delicious bread (I think it’s award winning). If you’re in the mood for an egg sando or something similar this is the place to go! I recommend getting the potato tostones or trying something from their seasonal menu. My go-to order is the Ube Cream Scones though since it’s a pretty small and tasty snack. Their flavor combos are always really unique and the food is really well seasoned.
  2. Cali Spartan Mexican Kitchen · San Jose, USA: Originally a food truck but now a sit down! Cali Spartan has a ton of options with good portions. I'm always get the burritos with lengua and tripa. The salsas are my favorite with a good depth of flavor and a good kick.
  3. TsunScoops · Garden Grove, USA: A solid independent owned ice cream story specializing in anime themed flavors!!! They've run collabs with Vtubers and collabs (anime / games) pretty often. I am a big fan of their sea salt ice cream inspired by Kingdom Hearts.
  4. Ludi's Restaurant · Seattle, USA: Amazing Filipino breakfast spot! I came in for the ube pancakes and I was not disappointed. Most places try to pass off coconut as ube but this is the real deal.
