Cafe Himalaya · New York, USA: It's a small shop with little seating, so go during off-peak hours or order for takeout. I recommend a Mango Lassi, Chili Dofu or Chili Chicken with extra hot sauce (on the side), and Gyathuk Ngopa with Chicken. The Momo are good too!
Kam Hing Coffee Shop · New York, USA: Best sponge cakes for a great price. I love buying them by the dozen, but you can order singles too. Regular sponges are $1.25 and flavored are $1.50. Try the regular, ube, and butterscotch.
Katsudon-ya Zuicho · 🍚 Katsudon · Shibuya: Small counter spot that only serves katsudon. You pick how much rice you want (s/m/l) and then they serve you tea, soup, a side of pickles, and katsudon. Due to its size, it's usually busy, try a week day during off-peak times.
Deluxe Green Bo · New York, USA: Go to spot to eat with friends. Soup dumplings, lo mein, string beans, beef and broccoli, and scallion pancakes. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but there is fast turn around.
Okiboru House of Tsukemen · New York, USA: One of the best tsukemen spots in NYC. The broth is thick and divine. The noodles are nice and chewy, too.
